I just really wanted to say thank you for the super fun class, i never had such a chill class in my whole 11 years of school. even thought we didn't learn much about anything i really appreciated your efforts in teaching us. now i know what photoshop looks like and how my brother makes his music. you've helped me better understand how hard people try and how long people work to create a beautiful picture or make beautiful music. wow i sound all poetic and stuff now. :D i want to let you know that i wish you the best in both your personal life and career i hope you find a school that deserves your knowledge, experience, and expertise in computers and technology. i hope to see you again. GOOD LUCK and THANK YOU!

Finally Done With Testing!!!!!
OMG you guys we are finally done with testing and i am so happy! I never really liked testing especially for the state. The state tests always seem extra boring like they made it that way on purpose. Don't you agree? Maybe it's because they move us away from each other making it way harder to copy, or the fact that we cant listen to our ipods like we do on class tests even when we aren't aloud to. But to be honest I've never had more fun taking the state test till today. And i think its because of my pimp as* teacher, Mrs. Golden. Since her class is fun and my friends are in it the temptation to talk is like a mosquito bite inching like crazzzy. Did that make cense at all? Another thing i like about testing is that we get out of school earlier than usual which gives us more time to study for the next test :D. Pshhh ya right i mean it gives us more time to go to McDonalds and explore the dollar menu. Anyways we are done and i think i did good in English and Math but i totally f'd up the Science. Hopefully i did good enough. Now i just have to wait for the results. Well i hope everyone else did as good as they hoped. Later.

LAUSD "shame on you!"
( I changed my back round in honor of the Teachers)... Well as you all know --because its pretty known-- today is the whole LAUSD strike thing for teachers who are getting fired. But unfortunately the teachers can not do what they had originally planned to do, a walk out. The judge put a restraining order on the teachers so they cannot leave the school. But that didn't stop them from protesting. This morning on my way to school i saw teachers with signs saying things like "Shame on LAUSD" and different stuff to make LAUSD feel bad. My opinion on this whole firing teachers that have the least seniority totally SUCKS!!! Most of the teachers aren't even going to have jobs at different schools, what are they supposed to do!?! They went to school and spent who knows how long of their life and valuable time to have an education and teach students about English, Math, History, and Science only to loose their jobs a couple years later. How are those teachers with less seniority supposed to move up in society if they do not have a job!?! What are the teachers that still have jobs supposed to teach students 5 years later lest say? In English, they are going teach students how to phrase sentences into a less mean and bold way of saying "Well, LAUSD is broke and we cant afford to pay the teachers so we are firing 14 teachers." In Math, students are going to be taught how much a teachers pay is and how broke America was that they cant even afford to keep teachers, and that other teachers are going to have to give up their pay to save a couple of teachers jobs. In History, teachers will teach the crappy History of America, sorry if that offends anyone, and their money problems. And in Science, they will teach, ummm how . . . Science wasn't strong enough to make money and save teachers jobs. Wow, isn't it funny how the problem with everything is money. And they say money cant buy you anything, well it cant but if America had money it could certainly be able to keep some jobs. Oh ya just a reminder Crysler has officially closed. My mom drives a Crysler which is why Im saying anything. Sorry to something thousand people who don't have jobs anymore either. Im very hopeful that America will prevail this whole problem we are facing. Back to my LAUSD thing. Something needs to be done, we can't go on like this people constantly loosing their jobs. I used to think that LAUSD was one of the most stable things in America and that the need for teachers will never run out, I guess i was wrong. Hopefully i will be proven wrong and everything will be back to normal. Good luck to anyone who is losing their job or did. I wish you well, oh and LAUSD you suck "SHAME ON YOU!!!"

ARMENIAN GENOCIDE- APRIL 24, 1915
Ok so i don't know if you guys know but i am Armenian. And Armenian Genocide is coming up on Friday. Not that many even heard of this race let alone the genocide. First things first, the meaning of genocide is; the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. This is what happened 94 years ago in a now small country, my country, Armenia. This genocide was collaborated and performed by Turks. Turkey is a small country next to Armenia, but after this genocide and what with Turkey stealing our land its a pretty big country now. This is the basics i know about this horrid event if you want more information please google it. Well i wont be attending school on Friday because I'm going to the march in Hollywood. Its a march in Little Armenia where people go and chant things like "Never again" and some other things in Armenian. Its not necessarily going to have no way Jose its the last thing to go for, but to show your pride and try to prove to America that the genocide really did happen. That part has to do with political crap and i don't really know anything about it. I go to show my pride!!! :D.
check out these crazy photos of what happened during the ARMENIAN GENOCIDE!!!

who is Laurie Anderson???
Laurie Anderson was born in Chicago in 1947. She was one of eight children, and she studied the violin and played in the Chicago Youth Symphony as she was growing up. Laurie graduated in 1969 from Barnard College in New York and went on to study at Columbia University, working toward a graduate degree in sculpture. The art scene of the early 1970s in downtown New York attracted Anderson, therefore, some of her earliest performances as a young artist took place on the street or in informal art spaces. In the most memorable of these, Anderson stood on a block of ice, playing her violin while wearing her ice skates. When the ice melted, so did the performance. Since that time, Anderson has gone on to create large-scale theatrical works which combine a variety of media—music, video, storytelling, projected imagery, sculpture. As a visual artist, her work has been shown at the Guggenheim Museum in SoHo, New York, as well as extensively in Europe, including the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. She has also released seven albums for Warner Bros., including “Big Science,” featuring the song “O Superman” which rose to number two on the British pop charts. Overall, Laurie Anderson is a pretty remarkable person and artist, meeting her would totally be an honor.

Koyaanaisqatsi
this movie was so freakyyy. I remember seeing it when i was younger thats why i remember it. In the beginning it was a little boring but the middle was not at all. There were quite a few colorful characters differing in shape, size, species, size of noses (cough cough). The big thing that kept eating everyone and making weird noises was so freakyyy i kept thinking to myself "what the he11". but hey the director must of had a very good imagination to think of something this crazy. overall, it was an ok movie, not my most favorite i prefer Simpsons. :D

varsik, justin, vanessa, & justeen:...
WoW!!! that was sooo good. they did the bestest job. it was funny and creative and complimented the music perfectleee.
jessica:...
it was put together really well however, the actors were not very good. she should only work on the lipsinging. but it was good.
alex, mark, deegen, chris, kenny:...lamb story:...
i thought they were very creative and you could tell that they had a funnn time making it. i only think that they should use images relating to the words.
kat & edwin:...
theirs was really mellow. the tone of the music went with the pictures very well. the affects were amazing, i liked how the colors changed it was really nice. the part in the car was kind of scary to me. but over all it was really kool.
devon & anthony:...
i liked theirs it was dope. It was a little two long and i think the first part was a little boring compared to the second part. I felt that Anthony should have danced as well as Devon. The effects was niceee.

On Friday and Monday the class watched a movie called The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. This has been one of the most touching movies i have ever seen. Watching it made me realize how spectacular the will of a human could be, even after they are experiencing locked-in syndrome. The camera angles chosen by the director Julian Schnabel, were amazing, especially in the beginning. Trying to figure out what was going on really challenged my mind and imagination. Therefore, i am really inspired and encouraged to read the book which i think i will do very soon. It has also made me realize how greatly thankful i should be for the life I'm living and the fact that i can communicate normally.

Today we listened to the different projects that students have made on garage band, here's what I thought:
(Because i came like half and hour late I'm writing based on what I saw and what I remember)
Devin and Anthony:
From what i heard i thought that they did very good. It was very good considering they made the music themselves. However they should've had some kind of chorus, but overall it was really cool.
Alex's group:
I thought there piece was very funny, i think it was a good idea to do what they did because it was different, unique and very creative.
Gabriel:
I think he did a lot better than he gives himself credit. He does need to add more to the piece, and it would be great. However, he's on the right track.
Leslie:
I really liked the beat. It was cool and "pimp". But she just needs to add words and make it longer.
Us!:
We did the best!!! Just kidding. I think that we are going to do it over. Ours was really funny though.
