ARMENIAN GENOCIDE- APRIL 24, 1915
Ok so i don't know if you guys know but i am Armenian. And Armenian Genocide is coming up on Friday. Not that many even heard of this race let alone the genocide. First things first, the meaning of genocide is; the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. This is what happened 94 years ago in a now small country, my country, Armenia. This genocide was collaborated and performed by Turks. Turkey is a small country next to Armenia, but after this genocide and what with Turkey stealing our land its a pretty big country now. This is the basics i know about this horrid event if you want more information please google it. Well i wont be attending school on Friday because I'm going to the march in Hollywood. Its a march in Little Armenia where people go and chant things like "Never again" and some other things in Armenian. Its not necessarily going to have no way Jose its the last thing to go for, but to show your pride and try to prove to America that the genocide really did happen. That part has to do with political crap and i don't really know anything about it. I go to show my pride!!! :D.
check out these crazy photos of what happened during the ARMENIAN GENOCIDE!!!

who is Laurie Anderson???
Laurie Anderson was born in Chicago in 1947. She was one of eight children, and she studied the violin and played in the Chicago Youth Symphony as she was growing up. Laurie graduated in 1969 from Barnard College in New York and went on to study at Columbia University, working toward a graduate degree in sculpture. The art scene of the early 1970s in downtown New York attracted Anderson, therefore, some of her earliest performances as a young artist took place on the street or in informal art spaces. In the most memorable of these, Anderson stood on a block of ice, playing her violin while wearing her ice skates. When the ice melted, so did the performance. Since that time, Anderson has gone on to create large-scale theatrical works which combine a variety of media—music, video, storytelling, projected imagery, sculpture. As a visual artist, her work has been shown at the Guggenheim Museum in SoHo, New York, as well as extensively in Europe, including the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. She has also released seven albums for Warner Bros., including “Big Science,” featuring the song “O Superman” which rose to number two on the British pop charts. Overall, Laurie Anderson is a pretty remarkable person and artist, meeting her would totally be an honor.

Koyaanaisqatsi
this movie was so freakyyy. I remember seeing it when i was younger thats why i remember it. In the beginning it was a little boring but the middle was not at all. There were quite a few colorful characters differing in shape, size, species, size of noses (cough cough). The big thing that kept eating everyone and making weird noises was so freakyyy i kept thinking to myself "what the he11". but hey the director must of had a very good imagination to think of something this crazy. overall, it was an ok movie, not my most favorite i prefer Simpsons. :D
